How appropriate that I start a mom-blog when I am child-less tonight. I've tried to start blogs in the past; I even tried an anonymous mom-blog, but I never got a good ball rolling. Who knows, this might be the same way, but I am willing to try. I feel like moms with mom-blogs have this magical outlet to share happy adventures, difficult struggles and just funny insights into mommy life. I want that... I want to share my adventures with DJ, my struggles with being a working mom and the hilarious day to day antics of my toddler. Moms with mom-blogs are part of this strong mom community... I want that too.
And so here I am, at the beginning of it all... with a husband on his annual football-binge-Tahoe-enjoying-guys weekend trip and a child being watched over by his loving grandparents. That left me with the opportunity to spend some quality time with 5 other beautiful mommies, go grocery shopping super quickly, clean the floors in my house, binge watch Forensics Files (I have this unhealthy obsession with these types of shows) and, of course, start this mom-blog.
So if anyone is out there following me, get ready for the adventures of McMommy. I hope you enjoy reading through them as much as I enjoy writing about them :)
